CLTs Manpower Support

Dear all CLTs,

In recent times, I understand that there has always been a shortage of manpower support. Hence, I would like to encourage all the inactive CLTs to participate more in organised activities such as trainfire or camps.

Though I have not been in NCC (Sea) for long, I notice that it is always the same group of CLTs who are helping out in activities. I acknowledge their active participation and thank all for continually supporting HQ NCC activities. Do be reminded to study hard as well.

For those who are less active, I understand that there all of you have your own activities. I feel that there is no point for me to force everyone to come. However, being CLTs, you should already have known the responsibilities associated with it. Please voluteer your services by submitting your names to your respective intake OIC (it is very tedious for them to call everyone) to relieve the workload of other CLTs who are down to help out every other week. Having said that, I expect to see some new faces occasionally.

Thank you to all CLTs who had provided manpower support in HQ activities and may we all work together to overcome all adversities which comes our way.

Re: NCC Day Parade 080707

HQ NCC (SEA) will like to thank one and all who have contributed one way or another to the success of the NCC Day Parade 2007. For the first time, the parade is held in our very own campus ground. Gracing the occasion is RAdm (NS) Liu Tuck Yew, Minister of State - Education.

Though NCC Sea is always in-charge of VVIP ushering, for a change, we were given the task to setup the decoration for the event. No doubt, it seems tough that there are many things to prepare and setup, not to mention, the process of taking down. However, thanks to everyone, including HQ NSF and Contractor Peter, we managed to put up the decoration flags, banners and flower arrangement.

NCC Sea Staff are appreciative of the efforts of many Sea CLTs who made their way down to support the event in one way or another, as logistics party, parade trainers, or administrative members. With your swift effort, we managed to clear the campus of all decoration in the shortest possible time and cleared most of the weapons for th GOH and performers.

NCC Sea will also like to say a big thank you to our 6 contingent commanders who have put in efforts and time to lead the contingent in the march-pass before the Guest of Honour - SCLT Tan Chin Woo, SCLT Faizal, CLT Syafiq, CLT Hafiz, CLT Bukhari & CLT Evan Kong. We will like to thank all CLTs who have encouraged your cadets to participate in the parade, especially SCLT Yvonne Chia (CSS), SCLT Jonathan Teo (JYSS), SCLT Samuel Koh (FMSS), CLT Darren Lim & CLT Jayson Chong (MSS). We are also very appreciative of the effort by PHS CLTs who have called, urged and persuaded their cadets to come down for the rehearsal and the actual day despite the cadets having a busy schedule in school - Thanks to SCLT Eugene & CLT Wong Shu Man.

We will like to thank SCLT Tong Jing Kai, SCLT Tan Jin Chuan and SCLT Tay Fen Nie for taking their time to grace the occasion and offered their assistance to the post-parade logistics and administrative works. And also last but not the least, to any other CLTs who have taken the time and effort to come down to support and assist the event.

NCC DAY PARADE: Thanks to all‎

Hi all,

Sincere Thanks to all the CLTs who have help out in NCC DAY PARADE on 08/07/07.

Is our first time sea district has done DECO and i believe we have done a good job.

Special thanks to 2LT Loke and 3SG Lawerence for guiding us in this event.

HQ DO NOT need manpower for this coming Friday 6/07/07.Hence we do not need to report to HQ.

Need the CLTs to be at HQ on Sunday Morning,08/07/07, 0800hrs, report in No.4 and bring along a T-shirt. Lunch and Dinner Provided.

Proper Uniform Decorum

Dear all,

Please be reminded of the following points regarding the donning of No. 1 uniform:

• Refrain from reporting or leaving camp in half-No. 1- uniform.

• A white t-shirt is recommended to be worn with the no. 1 uniform.
  

• Peak caps must be clean. Peak cap covers must be washed if dirty and visor is to be free from fingerprints or dust.
  

• Uniform must be properly ironed. Be reminded that there is not supposed to be any lines on the sleeves.

• The uniform, including gloves, must be clean and free from stains.
  

• No belts, with the exception of sword belts, are to be worn.

• No bulky items are to be in the pockets.
  

• White socks are to be worn with white boots. Socks worn should extend above the boots.

• Boots are to be free from mud, stains and must be polished.

Also note of the following pointers for No. 3 uniform:

• Uniform must be ironed and not crumpled.

• Peak cap is to be clean.
  

• Shirt is to be washed and free from stains.

• Shirt is to be tucked in to show the belt.

• No bulky items are to be in the pockets.

• Shoes are to be polished.

Cadets are to be in their proper attire for training. Failing to do so could result in the cadet being removed from the contingent. See you guys at the next parade.
