Bearing & Turnout for CLTs Attending SSC

Dear All CLTs,

Please be reminded to ensure the best possible bearing and turnout for the SSC.

Ensure a decent haircut for all male CLTs. Haircut should not deviate much from the standards dictated at http://40years.ns.sg/portal/ns/ns_life/personal_appearance_standard .

Before wearing No. 3 Uniform:
1. Ensure uniform is clean (no coloured patches).
2. Ensure uniform is properly ironed.
3. Cut away all loose threads (also known as irish pennants).
4. Buckle for belt must be clean and shiny.
5. Shoes must be polished to shine.

Before wearing No. 4 Uniform:
1. Ensure uniform is clean (no obvious coloured stains or mud).
2. Uniform must not be excessively crumpled.
3. Boots must be darkened and brushed to shine.

CLTs who flout these rules will be dealt with appropriately.
