Cancellation of AKE selection

Dear All,

Please take note that the AKE selection on 7th and 8th March 2012 has been CANCELLED as the dates have been allocated for Camp STEEL.

Cadet Officers who have signed up for AKE, please reply to nccsea.manpower@gmail.com as to whether you are able to make it for Camp STEEL instead. Those who are available, please reply with your details in the proper format.

Advanced Drills Course

Dear Sea District Cadet Officers,

Please check your email for the Admin Instructions for 7th Advanced Drills Course

For Non-Supernumerary Cadet Officers, you may wish to attend the course as a trainee to gain valuable knowledge and practical skills.

Kindly refer to details stated in the admin instructions for more information.

Each district is allocated 5 Cadet Officers slots for the course.

If there are more than 5 cadet officers who are interested to attend the 7th ADC, a ranking of cadet officer may be conducted and the final decision on Sea District Nomination will lie with District Commander Sea before submission to Course Commander, Sergeant Major NCC for approval and thereafter intake to the course.

For Supernumerary-Trained Cadet Officers, it is encouraged to sign up as TRAINER to impart knowledge and groom leaders of tomorrow. Please read the following extract from SM blog (supernumerary.blogspot.com) and apply directly to C/LTA Liu Anqi.

The 7th NCC Advanced Drills Course will be conducted from 13 to 16 March 2012.

I am looking for Cadet Officers and Senior Cadets to assist me in conducting this annual course.

Trainers must be ADC trained and your rank must be minimum SSG and above to apply.

ISCEP

Dear Cadet Officers!

The International Sea Cadet Exchange Programmes (ISCEP) serves as a good platform to expose our you (sea cadets officers) to other sea cadet organisations in the world. It is also meant as an incentive trip for deserving cadets officers in NCC.

This year, we are pleased to announce two NEW TRIPS TO AUSTRALIA AND SOUTH KOREA

Below are the schedules for the trip

1) ISCEP Australia (12 - 25 April 2012) - Application Closed from last friday 10 Feb
2) ISCEP USA (25 June - 9 July 2012)
3) ISCEP UK (22 July - 7 August 2012)
4) ISCEP South Korea (20 July - 3 August 2012)
5) ISCEP Hong Kong (5 - 13 August 2012)

Cadets will pay a nominal fee for the trip if they are selected.

Please check your email for the application form!

An interview will be conducted in NCC HQ in end May. Individual completed hardcopy application forms have to reach Sea District Office/Mr Lionel Lee or Captain Chia by 13 April 2012.

• 2nd Selection for MKE (Sea) - 17th March (Application closed)

• IMT - 22nd March (By 08/03/2012)
• 2nd Selection for MKE (Land/Air) - 24th March (Application closed)
• Live Range - 27th March (By 13/03/2012)
• IMT - 30th March (By 16/03/2012)
• MKE - 30th March to 1st April (Application closed)

Interested Cadet Officers are to reply nccsea.manpower@gmail.com with your details in the proper format as stated on Sea Blog. The deadline for each event is as stated above in red.

Cadet Officers who have applied for AKE (except Boatcrew), please take note that attending the 1st Selections is of greater priority. With regards to the 2nd Selections and MKE, all those who have applied for AKE must attend. If a particular event clashes with any of the selection dates you are not allowed to apply.
